FB ALPHA V0.2.97.39 REFERENCE SET WINDOWS 7
I've tried it on a Windows 7 PC, Windowsġ0 PC, Mac running Yosemite, El Capitan, and Sierra, and a PS VIta and PSP
FB ALPHA V0.2.97.39 REFERENCE SET FULL
I've been trying this off and on for a full year (on all the recent Once scanning is complete exit out to the main menu and notice onlyĪ few ROMs, or none at all, are listed under the appropriate MAME or FBA the correct romsetįor the core you selected in step one) romset ROMs are stored.ĥ. Select your directory where the matching (i.e. Go to the + and select "Scan Directory".ģ. I expect my clrmamePro verified ROMs (tried merged and non-merged romsetsįor 0.175 and 0.78) to show up in the menu underneath the MAME or FBA icon.
Using "Scan Directory" on any FBA/MAME/etc. Please let me know if there's anything I can do to test or provide more information and I will. I've made several different forum posts on several different forums and it seems like nobody can get this to work. I've tried this on so many different computers and devices, running so many different OS's it's not even funny. I've been trying non-merged sets mainly, but this week I made merged sets for 0.78 and 0.175 and those do not work either. Romsets are the most common type from archive-org and the like, and again, are verified with clrmamePro. These ROMs will load (with the correct core) if I select them individually - the problem is they simply will not be added to the menu under their system icon (unlike my NES/SNES/Sega Genesis, GBA, N64, etc.

I've tried it on a Windows 7 PC, Windows 10 PC, Mac running Yosemite, El Capitan, and Sierra, and a PS VIta and PSP (~10 computers/devices total) - none will add more than a few ROMs to the menu. Neither "Version" or "Commit" are listed when I go into Information/System Information. I've tried it on a Windows 7 PC, Windows 10 PC, Mac running Yosemite, El Capitan, and Sierra, and a PS VIta and PSP (~10 computers/devices total)
I've been trying this off and on for a full year (on all the recent 'stable' releases on RetroArch). Once scanning is complete exit out to the main menu and notice only a few ROMs, or none at all, are listed under the appropriate MAME or FBA icon.the correct romset for the core you selected in step one) romset ROMs are stored. Select your directory where the matching (i.e.Go to the + and select "Scan Directory".Maybe 5-10 out of hundreds show up, but that's it. I expect my clrmamePro verified ROMs (tried merged and non-merged romsets for 0.175 and 0.78) to show up in the menu underneath the MAME or FBA icon.
romset will not populate the menu with those ROMs. I'm honestly surprised that allowed this to be posted and I'm surprised the mamedev guys haven't freaked out over it, because this could potentially attract a lot of negative attention (and mamedev is very, very prone to sudden outbursts of illogical drama).Using "Scan Directory" on any FBA/MAME/etc.

I have never ever seen that stuff hosted anywhere other then torrent websites. I mean, shit, this is basically a ROM hoarders wet dream. I'm not even sure how legal those ROM dumps are even if you own the original arcade boards- almost all arcade PCBs have hardware protection on them (think of DRM, but a billion times worse), and in order to dump the ROM contents properly and/or run them you'd have to crack that protection first. There's PSX dumps, there's Saturn dumps, and there's a whole bunch of arcade games that I know for a fact cannot be legally distributed (Raiden, Raiden Fighters, a couple of CAVE games, etc). Look at the stuff in the 'MESS and MAME' collection. Hell even I would hesitate at a 43gb ROMset without having a list of what is inside, I'd hate to waste that much band.
